This qualification is designed to meet the needs of stonemasons working with sandstone, limestone, marble and other types of stone and stone products to produce stone monuments, buildings and building components, such as walls, floors, arches, chimneys, stairs, windows, decorative mouldings, fireplaces and benchtops. This field also covers: Construction mason; Finisher; and Stonemason. Jimmy is a stonemason and has the ability to build stone structures, such as piers, walls, and abutments.; Lay walks, curbstones, or special types of masonry for vats, tanks, and floors.
